📢 Rights Holder System Update

As we wrap up our first year of publishing, we’re making some changes to simplify and streamline how we handle rights for our limited editions.

When we began, we created three separate rights holder lists — Novel, Novella, and Letterpress. These lists reflected the formats and titles we were experimenting with in our early days. Now, as we continue to grow, we’re combining and clarifying these systems into two main categories:

Two New Rights Categories

  • Letterpress Rights Holders

  • Offset Rights Holders

Thank You, Novella Supporters

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who supported our first three Novella editions. Your early encouragement and trust helped shape the press in its most formative stage. We're incredibly grateful — and we’re committed to honoring your support as we transition to this updated system.

What This Means Moving Forward

📚 Letterpress Editions

  • All future letterpress editions will be limited to 50 numbered copies.

  • If you purchased a Roman Numeral, Lettered, or Standard edition of Big Two-Hearted River, or were among the first 50 customers to order Big River, you’ll have first rights to future letterpress editions.

  • Note: These first 50 orders have not yet been fully fulfilled. If you’ve already placed an order, rest assured — you’re included.

🖨 Offset Editions

  • Offset editions will now be produced only in 26 Lettered and 50 Numbered copies per title.

  • We will be discontinuing paste paper and standard hardcover editions to focus on these two formats.

  • The former Novel and Novella rights holder lists will be combined into one Offset Rights Holders list.

  • If you haven’t received a message from us about a number change, your reserved number stays the same.

  • All lettered edition rights have remained the same.

We believe this new system will make things more consistent and manageable — both for our readers and for us. As always, thank you for being part of this journey. Your continued support makes everything possible.

Stay tuned for exciting announcements about upcoming titles — and as always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
